Tai Chi Martial Arts

"Tai Ji is a universal medium for the cultivation of Body, Mind, and Sprit. It is natural. It is perennial. It is for everyone, of all ages. It is easy to learn. It can be enjoyful and exciting to practice. It is a dance of life to be treasured. It is for you."

from Tai Ji, Essential Tai Ji, by  Chungliang Al Huang

Learn the ancient exercise that works every muscle group in the human body, massages all of the organs, promotes good health and helps to reduce stress levels.

Tai chi is the largest sport in the world with tens of millions of participants. Anyone can do tai chi regardless of age or physical condition and no special equipment is needed.

We offer a complete program that covers all aspects of tai chi. Our program is designed to allow the student to explore and learn the many aspects of Tai Chi: history, philosophy, applications and weapons. Students are limited only by their own desire and goals.

Class includes twenty minutes of stretching and breathing drills designed to to clear the mind and relax the body, a short break and 30 minutes of practice time. The goal is for students to be able to create their own escape from the pressures of the modern world.

"I am able to focus better on some tasks and enjoy  the serenity of the movements. Mostly it brings me  great pleasure and contentment especially while practicing alone out in nature."
